Each of our nine standard designer germs are processed to retain the natural nutritional and flavor characteristics of fresh, high quality wheat germ. The functional qualities of each include improving the stability, texture, nutritional value, and flavor of processed foods and consumer goods of all kinds. Each is high in protein and fiber and is virtually fat free.
VIOBIN U.S.A.’s unique “cold process” used in the production of our defatted wheat germ products ensures a high protein, high fiber, low fat product. Our Defatted Wheat Germ products supply the nutty flavor and appealing texture to many crackers, cereals, cake/bread mixes, and snack foods. It can also be used in the manufacture of insect foods and as a tablet extender.
